Week 8 Update - Miss Micha’s Builders
Hello Farm Families,
I’m back with another update on our fun adventures here at this magical place. Fall was in the air, as we gathered for a game of Fox & Rabbit on Friday morning. Saturday’s group took their time getting started by catching up with one another. Both classes had Morning Circle. Saturday’s class was led by me in group Tapping (EFT)~ a modality that gets the energy flowing & brings in awareness to the body & our emotions. I then shared about a game we were going to play throughout the day.
We talked about courtesy & how beneficial kindness can be. By listening & showing acts of kindness we earned balloons to aim at as targets in Archery later that day. After Sit Spot, we showed off our knot tying skills to earn a length of rope to then do with as we wish. We climbed trees, built a swing, developed letter delivery systems with ropes & baskets & jump rope.
Friday’s class was called in for an apology on my end~ as I had forgotten the bows at home. They were so sweet & understanding, & looked forward to the other activity I had planned. We will do Archery next week! It was time for our Farm Chore. Friday’s class mulched the Hugelbeds, while Saturday’s fed the chickens.
Following Lunch, Friday made succulent planters by carving small pumpkins & transplanting them inside. They colored them so beautifully using permanent markers. Afterward, they played Wolves & Rabbits to their heart’s content, even blending games with Mister Braden’s class. We finished with a game up at the pick up area of Poisonous Dart Frog. Saturday’s class had fun at the Archery Range, popping festive balloons left & right!
Thank you all so very much & take great care!
