Week 9 Update - Young Farmers

Problem: Sustained 30 mph winds with wind chill in the upper 30s, so no campfires at farm school. 

Solution: Tasting Room Take Over! After farm chores and a brief hike to the armadillo burrow by the cows (alas, we only found armadillo scat), the Builders & Farmers classes collected grapevines and moved into the tasting room to make wreaths and baskets, do our plant observation (the “wild weed of the week” was Cucumber Weed!) play tabletop games, and enjoy a wild D&D campaign courtesy of DM-extraordinaire Mr. Braden.

This Friday promises to be much more seasonal - it’s our last one for the winter semester and we have a harvest party planned, so you won’t want to miss it!
